Birth of a Maverick of the World

Subject The birth of a Maverick of the World.

One of the most defining moments in my life took place back in the year 1996. Or 95, I have to look it up. Anywho, all around me, I always seen people doing stuff that sometimes they do not feel comfortable doing. Or trying to impress their peers. Actually, it seems that it started earlier than that, but I remember a specific time when I started to go to my new middle school. One morning, before school started, this girl came up to me. At the time, I was a freshman, and did not know many people in the school grounds. So, anywho, she looked at me, there just starring at me. At the time, my parents decided to shave my head. Crew cut my butt, I kinda felt like a sort of gangster haircut to me. The good thing was that the gangs where made up of kids that my father helped out when .... So, they had this sort of respect for us. But, I did not totally looked like a gangster because since I was a kid, I wear clothes that kinda hug my body, or a little tight... I am used to it, for a while, I wanted to wear one of those really baggy pants... I did NOT feel comfortable with it. I am used to long hair. So back, she kept looking at me, and I was trying to see at what the heck she was looking at. She finally responded, "I like your head, it has a nice shape." I have been complimented on a lot of stuff(hair, eyes, cheeks, eyebrows, neck, teeth), but that was my first time, it was about my head. Now, for me, growing up reading books about philosophy and Aesop's fables comes with its rewards and some not so good stuff. "Beware of flatteres" came to mind when she said that. "This girls wants something from me..." being nice to me... OK then I will get to the bottom, I do not like to beat around the bush..."Well, since you are new here,I was hoping you could come join us" she replied.... That is nice of her... But when she said the following, I began to have my doubts... "you have to wear black, and all star shoes..." A cliche... for me, it was like being in a gang and beginning follow ideas that are not your own and starting to be sort of self conciuos... (Is that I sometimes have this habit of asking philosophical questions, since I was like about 9 or 10) So I have to give my identiy... I always like to march to a different drummer... I do things because they are the rigth thing to do not because people think it is the right thing to do... I always like to play the part of the rogue, maverick of the group. I can always relate to those guys when the other guys says "That dude is crazy, he does not go by the rules, but he gets results" (to be continued)

What the deal with the Ducks?

Subject What's the deal with DUCKS?

I want to start of how a simple animal like the duck (that sometimes comes in yellow) has been part of my life. Not that I like ducks or have some sort of fetish on ducks, but for some reason... they are there, in one way or another. You see, if you come to our house, you might see some type of duck on every room. One of my favorite songs involve a duck One of my favorite dancer/fighters is named DUCK KING. I like girls that have those tiny eyes like a duck. I am not sure why this types of thing happen. But for some reason, a duck is always present like some sort of sign or omen. Now, my parents brought me a rubber duck when I was an adorable baby (see me now, I am ugly compared to how I was before the "FALL"... I thought I threw this to the trash... One of my pics in the future, will show me surrounded by geese... I was nervous as heck... When I woke up, it was in my hand... "who put this rubber duck in my hand" ... It was after we came from our father's buriel.... But then, I looked at it, and started to remember how they said that this rubber duck was one of my first toys... somehow, it survived, and the other toys destroyed... That I am lucky, because some other children never meet their father... still a mystery... I will show pics later on how my room is filled with ducks furniture. No, I do not mean sofas and stuff, I mean like CD holders and key holders and paperweights. Let me make one thing clear. I DO NOT IN PURPOSE COLLECT DUCKS OR HAVE A QUEST TO COLLECT, everything duck. Is that our family friends, neighbors, relatives and etc... And for some reason, they present me with some sort of duck item... OK I will admit, I am looking for a shirt that I like that says "OBEY THE DUCK", that the artist know as Smiley sells, made after one of my favorite songs from In the Groove called "XUXA" which means duck in Greek. Is that I was advise in my teenage years to study latin and greek because a some of words in English have some sort of root coming from other languages. As for this blog it will be finished soon and I am deciding to make some spinoff out of this one. One will be about Duck King. Another about the song Xuxa. Another was when I was about to drown. For some reason, a duck was present in a major change in my life. Do not ask me. Oh! Guess what? I have a female cousin that looks like me, (she is about 9 or 10 at the moment) and she has the same thing. She likes guys with tiny eyes. Examples are Leonardo Di Caprio, Mark Mc Grath, Matt Damon, John Cena ( I dislike like this guy, with the hippin and the hopping and the "you can't see me", OH no! I can't see you behind your waving hand! Psssh.) And we rarely hang out together. Weird huh?(To be continued).
